Experience the wild beauty of Tsavo East National Park, one of Kenya’s largest and most iconic safari destinations. This two-day, one-night adventure is perfect for travellers based on the coast (Diani, Watamu, Malindi, or Mombasa) who want to encounter elephants, lions, giraffes, and more in their natural habitat. Comfortable lodges, expert guides, and unforgettable wildlife encounters await.
Day 1: Departure and Wildlife Encounters in Tsavo East
- 06:15 AM: Pick-up from your coastal accommodation.
- Journey inland on red-earth roads through lush forests and rural villages.
- Stop at Crocodile Point on the Galana River to observe crocodiles in the wild.
- 10:00 AM: Enter Tsavo East National Park and begin your first animal-spotting drive, searching for elephants, zebras, antelopes, and big cats.
- Lunch: Arrive at your selected lodge or tented camp for a buffet lunch.
- Afternoon at leisure—relax by the pool or in your room.
- 4:00 PM: Head out for your second animal-spotting drive as the sun sets over the savannah.
- Evening: Return to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Sunrise Safari and Return to the Coast
- 5:30 AM: Early breakfast.
- 6:00 AM: Set off on your final animal-spotting drive, with early morning offering prime conditions to see predators and other active wildlife.
- Midday: Exit the park and return to your accommodation on the coast in time for lunch.
- Optional: Stop along the way to distribute clothes or supplies to local villages and children.
