Overview
Embark on an unforgettable 9 days - 8 nights safari adventure through Kenya's most iconic wildlife destinations. Begin your journey in Nairobi with a visit to the famous Giraffe Centre before venturing into the world-renowned Masai Mara. Continue to Lake Nakuru, home to rhinos and spectacular birdlife, then travel to Amboseli National Park for breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro and large elephant herds. Explore the scenic Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary and conclude your safari in the vast wilderness of Tsavo East National Park, famous for its red elephants and diverse wildlife. This carefully designed itinerary combines exceptional game viewing, cultural experiences, and spectacular landscapes, creating the ultimate Kenyan safari experience. From Watamu, Malindi, Diani, Mombasa. 

 

Day 1: Coastal Transfer to Nairobi – Giraffe Centre Experience

  • 6:00 AM: Depart from your coastal accommodation in Watamu, Malindi, Diani, or Mombasa and begin the journey to Nairobi. Travel through Kenya's diverse landscapes, passing  traditional villages, sisal plantations, and sections of the famous  Tsavo ecosystem.
  • 1:00 PM: Stop at a selected restaurant for lunch en route to Nairobi. Continue the journey towards Nairobi.
  • 3:30 PM: Arrive in Nairobi and proceed to the Giraffe  Centre for an unforgettable wildlife experience. Guests will have the  opportunity to feed and interact with the endangered Rothschild's  giraffes while learning about conservation efforts aimed at protecting  this unique species.
  • 5:30 PM: Transfer to Konzi BnB and proceed with check-in. Evening: Dinner and overnight stay in Nairobi.

 

Day 2: Nairobi to Masai Mara – Arrival and Cultural Experience

  • 6:00 AM: Depart from Nairobi and travel towards the Masai Mara National Reserve. Arrive at your lodge in the afternoon and proceed with  check-in. Guests will enjoy a freshly prepared lunch before having time  to relax and freshen up.
  • At 4:00 PM, guests will depart for a guided cultural  experience. During this excursion, they will visit a local Maasai  village and market, where they will have the opportunity to interact  with the Maasai community, learn about their traditions, customs, and  way of life, and gain valuable insight into the rich cultural heritage  of the Maasai people. Guests will also enjoy traditional Maasai dances  and cultural performances. After this unique cultural experience, guests will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.


Day 3: Masai Mara – Full-Day Game Drive

  • 6:00 AM: Early breakfast and departure for a full-day game drive. Optional: Packed lunch to enjoy amidst the savannah. Explore the diverse ecosystems of the Masai Mara, observing a variety of wildlife in their natural habitat.
  • Evening: Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

 

Day 4: Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru – Afternoon Game Drive 

  • 6:00 AM: Early breakfast and departure from Masai Mara, with a game drive en route to the park exit.
  • 12:00 PM: Arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park and check into your lodge. Enjoy a buffet lunch followed by a short rest.
  • 4:00 PM: Afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru, renowned for its flamingos and the rare black rhino.
  • Evening: Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.


Day 5: Lake Nakuru to Amboseli – Afternoon Game Drive 

  • 6:00 AM: Early breakfast and departure from Lake Nakuru.
  • 12:30 PM: Arrive at Amboseli National Park and check into your lodge. Enjoy a buffet lunch followed by a short rest.
  • 4:00 PM: Afternoon game drive in Amboseli, with opportunities to view Mount Kilimanjaro.
  • Evening: Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.


Day 6: Amboseli to Taita Hills – Afternoon Game Drive

  • 6:00 AM: Early breakfast followed by a short morning game drive in Amboseli. Depart for Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary.
  • 12:30 PM: Arrive at your lodge and check in. Enjoy a buffet lunch followed by some relaxation.
  • 4:00 PM: Afternoon game drive in Taita Hills Wildlife  Sanctuary, known for its unique landscapes and rich concentration of  wildlife.
  • Evening: Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.


Day 7: Taita Hills to Tsavo East – Afternoon Game Drive  

  • 6:00 AM: Early breakfast and departure from Taita Hills.
  • 1:00 PM: Arrive at Tsavo East National Park and check into your lodge. Enjoy a buffet lunch followed by a short rest.
  • 4:00 PM: Afternoon game drive in Tsavo East, renowned for its red elephants and diverse ecosystems.
  • Evening: Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.


Day 8: Tsavo East – Full-Day Game Drive

  • 6:00 AM: Early breakfast and departure for a full-day game drive. Optional: Packed lunch served at a designated picnic site within the park. Explore the park's famous attractions including Aruba  Dam, the Galana River, and the Yatta Plateau while searching for a wide  variety of wildlife.
  • Evening: Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.


Day 9: Tsavo East to Watamu, Malindi, Diani or Mombasa – Morning Game Drive and Return  

  • 6:00 AM: Early morning game drive in Tsavo East National Park. After the game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast. Depart for Watamu or Mombasa (airport), arriving around lunchtime.
